RCM ACI Builder v17.8.5 structural engineers may design the majority of reinforced concrete member types in accordance with the ACI318M-11 specification.
The software is a versatile tool for real-world design challenges and is appropriate for educational settings because it produces a comprehensive, detailed design output report complete with all formulas and illustrative figures.
The following items make up the platform:
- Flexural member design (T-shape and rectangular sections)
- Shear design in the following scenarios: Members may experience severe axial tension in addition to shear and flexure, shear and axial compression, or both.
- Designing for both equilibrium torsion and compatibility torsion in a combined shear and torsion system
- Punching design for all column geometry scenarios, including interior, edge, and corner columns, for both prestressed and non-prestressed members
- Corbel and bracket designs
- Control of one-way slabs and beams' flexural cracking
- Pile-cap design with the broadest range of geometric cases: 2, 3, 5, and StripPile Caps
- Isolated footing design under eccentric and concentric loading scenarios
